Over one billion people globally live with disabilities, yet many face persistent barriers to participation, accessibility, and opportunity. These barriers often become more severe in crisis and displacement contexts, where systems are strained and inclusion is overlooked.
Wayana Foundation USA exists to close gaps in inclusion and access by supporting initiatives that improve disability inclusion, strengthen families and caregivers, enhance accessibility, and build education and employment readiness. We also support humanitarian relief and rehabilitation-aligned initiatives that protect dignity and stability in crisis-affected contexts.
Wayana Foundation USA is a legally independent nonprofit organization incorporated in the State of California with its own board of trustees and governance oversight.
It maintains separate financial management, compliance systems, and strategic decision-making processes.
The Foundation’s approach is informed by inclusion-focused and humanitarian initiatives previously implemented in Egypt. All historical activities and documented outcomes are attributed to their original implementation context.
Wayana Foundation USA functions as a distinct legal entity with independent accountability and operational responsibility.
